Lock the date in! Thursday 26th March, we’ll be featuring the wonderful wines from Stella Bella from Margaret River.
Stella Bella’s chief winemaker, Luke Jolliffe, has been making waves in the viticulture world for several years now. Winning a slew of awards, he is a regular wine show judge at the Qantas Wine Show in Western Australia. He spends most of his time off exploring the European wine regions of Tuscany, Piedmont, Bordeaux and Burgundy, and has been nominated as the Wine Society’s Young Winemaker of the Year.
The wonderful David Mullen from David Mullen distribution will be presenting on the night. (Hoping vintage will be finished and Luke will be here) And the best bit? We’ll have a sneaky back vintage for everyone to try.
As always, an exotically customised menu will be whipped up by Leah to accompany Stella Bella’s sensational wines.

It’s February already, and you know what that means – Valentine’s Day is so close you can almost taste it! Whether you’re experiencing the exciting first flush of love or have been together for years, nothing quite says “l’amour” than taking your date out for a romantic rendezvous on Valentine’s Day.
If you’re feeling the love for something a little on the exotic side, then Meeka’s got your back. Our Valentine’s Day set menu has something for everyone, including a mezze starter to share (because, romance). Our starter platter features decadent duck parfait, crispy prawn sliders, zesty falafels and lashings of pumpkin tahini yoghurt. And that’s just for entree!
For mains, you’ll be given the choice of three mouthwatering dishes. Choose between our wood-fired lamb shoulder with Moroccan mint sauce and crispy onions, or crispy Wagin duck leg with duck jus, baby carrots, dates and feta. Or how about pan-fried gnocchi, fired tomatoes, chermoula, almonds and goat’s curd? We never said it was gonna be easy.
And as if Valentine’s Day couldn’t get any sweeter, our dessert card features passionfruit curd tart, orange blossom meringue and strawberry rose chocolate mousse cake. I know. We’re sorry. Truly.
Of course, vegetarian and gluten-free options are readily available.

AN INTIMATE WINE EVENING WITH FAYE CLARKE
Meeka presents a very special evening with wine lover Faye Clarke, whose wine list came third in Australia’s ‘Wine List of the Year Awards - Under 50 Wines’ category this year.
Join us for an exclusive long-table wine dinner as Faye takes us on a journey through some of Europe’s finest wine regions and their wineries, including the French provinces of Alsace, Chateauneuf du Pape, Gaillac, Spain’s Rioja and Italy’s Dolomites.
A passionate wine connoisseur, Faye and her husband spend a portion of each year living in their cottage in iconic Burgundy in France, which they use as a base to explore the incredible wine trails of Europe.
Faye has chosen five of her favourite European wines to share with you, which have been ably matched with five courses of Leah’s wonderful Australian and Middle Eastern fusion cuisine.
Leah will be pairing with local seafood, Duck (Faye's favourite), something special from the wood fire and dessert.

After travels throughout Australia and internationally completing vintages in countries such as France, Italy, Portugal, Spain, Switzerland and South Africa, in 2006 Si Vintners was established.
Si Vintners is made up of two qualified winemakers (husband and wife) who in September of 2010 purchased a 30 acre estate with 20 acres under vine (majority planted in 1978). The property is situated just south of the Margaret River Township in an area called Rosa Glen. Sarah and Iwo are doing incredibly unique things in Western Australia.
"Since purchasing the property, the vineyard has been farmed 100% organic/biodynamic.
All our wines are made without any of the usual additives used in commercial winemaking, apart from a small sulphur addition at bottling. We bottle our wines without fining or filtration as we believe that these processes take away aromas and flavours from the wine. We believe a little sediment in the bottom of the bottle only creates a more authentic wine. Our motivation is to hand craft natural wines, which are expressive of the vineyard and sub-region."
Meeka will be pairing 5 glasses of wine with 6 courses including Leah's delectable desserts.
Wines include the official launch of "Bella" Chardonnay, current and aged Cabernet Sauvignon plus more that will be matched perfectly with food created by Head Chef/Owner Leah Clarke.
