Mazza Wines is a family-run vineyard that specialises in Spanish & Portuguese wines, with six Iberian
red grape varieties that include the much-loved Bastardo variety. The vineyard is the only planting of its kind in the Geographe Region, and is a firm favourite with wine critics from all over Australia.
The vineyard’s other red grape varieties include Graciano, Tempranillo, Tinta Cão, Touriga Nacional, and
Sousão.
The wines will be matched with customised plates created by Meeka Restaurant’s head chef, Leah Clarke.
Such as Prawns to start, Duck Parfait, Spatchcock Roulade, Wood Fire Lamb and to finish one of Leah's delicious dessert to match David's very unique dessert wine.
Mazza Wines’ plantings have been inspired by travels through Spain and Portugal and the fantastic wines of
Rioja and the Douro Valley. David Mazza is proud to produce an Australian
translation of these Old World heritage varieties, and he is believed to be the only Australian producer to present this collection from a single site.
