Mr Barval from Margaret River.
Before establishing his own winery in Margaret River, Robert Gherardi has wonderful credentials in the wine industry as working with the best. Moss Wood, Cullen, Brown Hill. He also did vintages in his family origins of Italy in Valtellina of Northern Lombardy then in the Barolo region. All three regions having different technics have shaped his winemaking.
The philosophy behind our wines and driving our decisions for them is a very classical and traditional one. We are focused on the classic varieties of Margaret River – Cabernet Sauvignon and Chardonnay. We are aiming to produce the wines in a very traditional, old world manner to allow for their own individual voices to be heard most clearly, not to be the bearers of a heavy winery fingerprint. Meeka will be pairing 6 courses with 6 glasses of Mr Barval wine including a glass of special Vermouth with dessert.
The wines include Chardonnay, Nebbiolo, Cab Merlot and more, will be matched with customised plates created by Head Chef and Owner Leah Clarke. Such as Mushroom Chestnut Soup, Local Whiting, Wood Fired Capretto, and to finish one of Leah's delicious dessert.
